Easy Christmas Card Display
M

For most years I have placed my Christmas cards in a basket near the dining room. This has been nice because I can look through the cards from time to time and be warmed by the friendship and good wishes sent with the cards. But this year I wanted to think of a way to display the cards, and to use them as a decoration. Off to the internet for inspiration. This seemed extra easy, so I made a door into a display!
Here is what you need:

Ribbonons

Some cards

Tape and scissors
( I saw someone on line did this with push pins instead of tape, but my door is not really wood, so tape is better.)
When you begin, the first place to start is the middle ribbon. The reason is that the hinge might be in the way, so start on the hinge side.

The tape is on the inside of the door. This is the door to the hall closet, so it does not matter what the other side looks like.

So, just tape the ribbon in a cross, as you would on an oblong gift.

I then added a bow

I used paper clips to attach the Christmas cards.

And here it is, ready to receive more cards as they come in the mail!
