Food, But Not To Eat

I would never be one to say I am anything close to a regular traveler, but I love to visit house museums wherever I go. On a tour, I find myself looking so forward to seeing the kitchen. Did you ever notice that the kitchens are often at the end of the tours? I say, saving the best for last! I love the "foodscapes" created by museum staff. I love the fake food, the pretend flour sacks, the spoon resting on the side of the tea saucer as if the lady of the house only just now stepped away. I like to see an apron laid over the back of an old wooden chair. I love the bowl of berries, and the two berries that seem to have only just fallen out of the bowl. Even better is a Living History museum, where the food being prepared is REAL! These are the things I take photos of. So, I was thinking of sharing them with you. Just for fun.
