"Remembering Connie" Memorial Quilt

In my mother’s sewing room, after she passed away, were some embroidered blocks. Some had borders, and some did not. The thing that struck me, was that my mother had sort of cleaned things out the year before she died. She knew she was ill, and would no longer be sewing, so her sewing room had been downsized, and she certainly did not keep unfinished projects. But, there they were. They must have been something she hoped someone would do something with. So, I did. The Remembering Connie quilt at last is done!

This is how the blocks looked when I found them. Some had borders, and some did not.
