Wedding Lanterns

I was fortunate enough to come upon a lot of decorative lanterns at a garage sale, and thought my son’s fiancé might use them for the upcoming wedding. Sure enough, she thought it was a great idea, but only gold lanterns would do. So….

and locating my gold spray paint, I went into the back yard to do the paing

After taping the glass with blue painter's tape, and locating my gold spray paint, I headed off to the back yard for the actual painting.

Here they are with the painter's tape still on the glass.

Removal of the tape, and cleaning of the glass revealed lovely lanterns, ready for the bride's approval! For the cost of a few cans of gold spray paint, we are saving at least $10 per lantern.
